RESOLUTION NO. 14-80
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
Sheriff's Department
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Sheriff Department has insufficient
funds in their 1980 budget to cover costs incurred for the Jail Manager's
Salary adjustment for the years 1979 and 1980 totalling $1,203.04 which was
not anticipated at the time of preparing their budget, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that a need and emergency exists as could not have been forseen or contem-
plated at the time of making the budget for 1980, and the sum of $1,203.04
is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interests
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that
an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County Sheriff Department in the
amount of $1,203.04 to be used for the above catagory.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said emergenc}
appropriation and that said hearing be held in the
Chamber, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on
1980 at the hour of 11:45 a.m.; and the notice of
