RESOLUTION NO. 24-80
WHEREAS, a Stipulation and Judgment was entered in Jefferson
County Cause No. 9640, Boise Cascade, et al, vs. Jefferson County on
February 1,198Q, and
WHEREAS, the said judgment requires payment by Jefferson County to
plaintiffs for excess taxes collected in calendar year 1978" and
WHEREAS, the monies so collected by the County Treasurer were
credited to the accounts of various junior taxing districts, and those
monies have now been expended by the said taxing districts, and
WHEREAS, until taxes have been collected this year the said junior
taxing districts will not have the funds to pay their proportionate
share of this payment, and
WHEREAS, the current expense account does have funds adequate to
pay the amount of the judgment,
Now, Therefore, it is hereby resolved:
That the Jefferson County Treasurer pay the judgment
in Jefferson County Cause No. 9640 from the current
expense fund and reimburse the current expense fund
from its various junior taxing districts when funds
become available from collection of taxes during
calendar year 1980. Reimbursement by the junior
taxing districts shall be made in accordance with
the attached schedule~
