Sanstrorn, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS April 3, 1980 To: Board of Jefferson County From: M.L. Sanstrom, Director, Commissioners Dept. Public Works J~ Subject: Aerial Survey Mapping - C.R.P. #477 attached. This resolution is intended to provide funding to secure good base maps ( 1" = 100') for the area generally lying between Prospect Avenue- Chimacum and the Indian Island/Oak Bay intersect'ion to ~ mile west of the Tri-City Cafe. The County Engineer crew would mark all section control monuments and establish the elevation controls necessary for this type of mapping. These maps, when completed, would be suitable for road design in most of the covered area eliminating considerable field survey work. The maps would be useful to the Planning Department and the Board of County Commissioners when land developers, etc. are asking for County approvals. The Planning Department has indicated that they could share in the cost. The Assessors Office have said they have no money to assist in the cost; but they would have use of a updated map. Jack Westerman is in Wenatchee at this writing so I have had no direct communication with him. "i VOL ~ """2' t..~ i ;',f1::. Du
