TRANSPORTATION FEASIBILITY STUDY
PROPOSED BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
WHEREAS, The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners have made
application with the Washington State Department of Transportation for
financial support to perform a feasibility study to determine the need for
public transportation within Jefferson County and has signed an Agreement
for Advanced Financial Support Payment to Perform Public Transportation
Feasibility Study for the amount of $13,482.00 to cover costs incurred; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that an
emergency exists and the sum of $13,482.00 is necessary to establish a
budget for the Public Transportation Feasibility Study in the said amount
and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the budget be esta-
blished; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that a:
budget of $13,482.00 be established for the Jefferson County Public Trans-
portation Feasibility Study;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners'
Chamber of Jefferson County on the 23rd day of June, 1980, at the hour of
2:30 p.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official
newspaper of Jefferson County and that at said hearing, any interested tax~
payer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such
alleged emergency.
