RESOLUTION NO. 63-80
JEFFERSON COUNTY HOUSING REHABILITATION
PROPOSED BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners have entered
into contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (DHUD)
for a Community Development Block Grant for funds to be used in rehabili-
tation of housing for moderate and low income families for the amount of
$247,918.00; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that an
emergency exists and the sum of $247,918.00 is necessary to establish a
budget for the Jefferson County Housing Rehabilitation in the said amount,
and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the budget be
established; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that a
budget of $247,918.00 be established for the Jefferson County Housing Rehab-
ilitation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners'
Chamber of Jefferson County on the 23rd day of June, 1980 at the hour of
1[:00 a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official
newspaper of Jefferson County and that at said hearing, any interested tax-
payers may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such
alleged emergency.
