RESOLUTION NO. 65-80
ORDER OF BUDGET APPROPRIATION
Bonds & Insurance
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County, Wash-
ington, did, on the 16th day of June, 1980, declare that an emergency existed
to provide additional funds to cover escalating county insurance costs, in
the sum of $7,000.00; and set a hearing on said emergency for Monday, June
23rd, 1980, at the hour of 10:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published for two weeks in the
local newspaper as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing, and no
objection or objection interposed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the Board of County Commissioners, that
there be and there is hereby appropriated for the Bonds &, Insurance Fund ~o~
5]9)90.36.0~, the sum of $7,000.00 from the unencombered current expense
fund balance no. 501, to be used for the county insurance costs;
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby
empowered to draw warrants against the above stated account, not exceeding
the gross amount so appropriated unless a review is applied for within five
days from date hereof.

publisher of the Port Townsend Leader, a weekly
newspaper which has been established, published In the
EngliSh language and circulated continuously as a weeldy
newspa.per In the town of Port Townsend, In said County
and State, and for general. circulation In said county for
more than six (6) months prior to the date of the first
publication of the Notice hereto attached. and that the
said Port Townsend Leader was on the 27th day of June,
1941 . approved as a legal newspa.pe, by the Superior Court
of said Jefferson County, and that annexed is a true copy

on the proposed budget extension

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 23rd day of June, 1980, at
the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Office of The Board of County
Commissioners, Courthouse, Port Townsend, WA 98368, has been set
fora hearing on the proposed budg~t extension for Bonds &~Insur-
ance in the amount of $7,000.00 to be used for the above stated
catagory; and at said hearing, any interested taxpayer may appear
and be heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged
emergency.
