RESOLUTION NO. 120-80
ORDER
RECOMPUTATION OF LONGEVITY PAY FOR
NON-UNION COUNTY EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County, did,
on the 6th day of May, 1980, declare that an emergency existed to provide
additional funds in the amount of $3,486.60 to be used for longevity pay for
non-union county employees; and set a hearing on said emergency for Monday,
the 12th day of May, 1980, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published for one week in the
local newspaper and at the time and place set for the said hearing, no one
appeared to speak for or against the said emergency; and
WHEREAS, the County Auditor has now determined that the amount
required to meet the emergency is less than originally anticipated and the
sum of $2,121,86 is all that need be appropriated;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of County Commissioners, that
there be and there is hereby appropriated for longevity pay for non-union
county employees the sum of $2,121.86 from the unencumbered 501 Current
Expense fund balance;
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby
empowered to draw warrants against the attached accounts, not exceeding the
gross amount so appropriated unless a review is applied for within five days
from date hereof.
