RESOLUTION NO. 124-80
BUDGET TRANSFER - SUPERIOR COURT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Superior Court Clerk has expressed
the need to adjust their 1980 Budget of Expenditures due to it being
necessary for the Court to appoint more private attorneys to represent indi-
gent defendants than was anticipated at the time of preparing the 1980 budget;
and
WHEREAS, due to there being sufficient funds in other accounts
within the budget of the department to permit the essential adjustment;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners, that the Auditor be, and she is hereby authorized to make the
following transfer in the amount of ONE THOUSAND & no/100 DOLLARS ($1,000.00)

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current
budget it appears that an adjustment should be made within the
~ Budget of Expenditures for this department. Due to there
being sufficient funds in other accounts within the budget of the
department to permit the necessary adjustment(s), I hereby request
the followingtransfer(s):

Reason For Transfer(s):
Due to conflict of interest the public Defender's office was unable to
represent more indigent defendants than anticipated at the time of
preparing the 1980 budget. This has made it necessary for the court
to appoint more private attorneys for their defence than'was planned.
