HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET EXTENSION - JEFFERSON COUNTY TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES & SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners made
application to the Washington State Department of Transportation for financial
support to prepare a comprehensive transit plan to determine the extent of
public transportation services to provide to its residents and signed an
Agreement for advanced financial support payment in the amount of $15,700.00
to cover costs incurred; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that an
emergency exists to extend the Transportation Budget in the sum of $15,700.00
for the Development of Transportation Facilities and Systems, and is for the
best interests of Jefferson County that the budget be extended; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that the
Transportation budget be extended by the sum of $15,700.00 for the Develop-
ment of Transportation Facilities and Systems;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers
of Jefferson County on the ard, day of N'Ovembe-:t; 1980, at the hour of 10: 30a.m.
and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of
Jefferson County and that at said hearing, any interested taxpayer may appear
and be heard for or against the extension appropriation for such alleged
emergency.
