RESOLUTION NO. 133-80
DISBURSEMENT OF FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASH-
INGTON, DISTRIBUTING AND ALLOCATING FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES RECEIVED
BY JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1980 (75% of total year)
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum
of three million, six hundred twenty three thousand, eight hundred sixteen
dollars, eight cents ($3,623,816.08) from the State Auditor of the State of
Washington, representing 75% of this County's distributive share of Federal
Forest Reserve Revenues apportioned by the U.S. Department of Agriculture
during the calendar year 1980 and persuant to the statute of the State of
Washington in such cases made and provided it is now the duty of the Board
of Jefferson County Commissioners to make the proper disposition thereof;
and
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given careful
consideration to the needs of the County Road System and to the needs of
the several school districts of Jefferson County and their necessary admin-
istrative requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commis-
sioners does hereby order, allocate, distribute and apportion said sum of
$3,623,816.08 as follows:
(A) To the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and
construction of County Roads during the year 1981
the sum, of $1,811,908.04 to be transferred into
said fund on January 2, 1981;
(B) To the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum of $1,8111908.04,
plus all accrued interest received on their apportion-
ment, to be distrubuted as follows: apportioned to the
General Fund of each school district by the County
Superintendent of Schools (ESD #114) according to law,
as follows:

THE REMAINING 25% of Jefferson County's distributive share of
Forest Reserve Revenues will be appropriated by the u.S. Department of Agri-
culture before the end of the calendar year 1980, at which time the Board
will make the proper disposition.
