RESOLUTION NO. 134-80
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET EXTENSION
BAY SHORE ENTERPRISES
WHEREAS, Bayshore Enterprises added four certified clients to
their program in July, raising their state contract for service; and
WHEREAS, the full amount of money needed for the four additional
clients will be reimbursed by the State; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contem-
plated at the time of making the budget for 1980, and the sum of $6,859.00
is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interests
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared,
that an appropriation be made for Bayshore Enterprises in the amount of
$6,859.00 to be used for the above stated purpose.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 3rd day of
November, 1980, at the hour of lO:OOa.m.; and the notice of said hearing be
published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said
hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriation for such alleged emergency.
