HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET EXTENSION - NON DEPARTMENTAL
BONDS & INSURANCE
WHEREAS, the Bonds and Insurance Fund has insufficient money in
its budget for 1980 to cover additional county insurance costs, which was
not anticipated at the time of preparing the budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contem-
plated at the time of making the budget for 1980, and the sum of $3,200.00
is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interests
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation be made for the Bonds and Insurance Fund in the amount of
$3,200.00 to be used to pay additional county insurance costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that siad hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 10th day
of November, 1980, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and the notice of said hearing
be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County; and that at said
hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriation for such alleged emergency.
