RESOLUTION NO. 153-80
ORDER
BUDGET EXTENSION - RECREATION DEPARTMENT
1980
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, did, on the
4th day of November, 1980, declare that an emergency existed to provide
additional funds for the Recreation Department in the sum of $8,250.00 to
cover costs incurred by the rental of School District No. 50 swimming pool
facility, and set a hearing on the said emergency for Monday, November 17,
1980, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published for two weeks in
the local newspaper as required by law; and
WHEREAS, hearing was held at the time and place so specified,
and there was no objection or objection interposed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of County Commissioners,
that there be and there is hereby appropriated for the Jefferson County
Recreation Department the sum of $8,250.00, from the unencumbered fund
balance of Current Expense account #501, to be used to cover expenses for
the rental of the swimming pool facility from School District #50; and be it
FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby
empowered to draw warrants against the following account, not exceeding the
gross amount so appropriated unless a review is applied for within five days
from date hereof:

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account NumberJr33,20.31
of $ 1T( 2.50. 00 of the /eau1/01V C'flllllhtvi- feNhtL- Fund is insufficient to pay
necessary expenses of this department for this year. After a careful
examination of the expenditures under this fund in previous years, and a
thorough examination of the present needs of this department under the
current year, I estimate that it will be necessary to have an additional
appropriation in the form of an emergency appropriation in the approxi-
mate amount of $ ~250.00 for this current year for the following
reasons: I
Accordingly, I request permission from the Board of County Commissioners
for an emergency appropriation in the sum of $~ for the cur-
