RESOLUTION NO. 155-80
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION - NON DEPARTMENTAL
STATE EXAMINER
WHEREAS, the State Examiner Fund has insufficient monies in its
budget for 1980 to cover audit expenses which were not anticipated at the
time of preparing the budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or con tem-
plated at the time of making the budget for 1980, and the sum of $5,350.00
is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interests
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation be made for the State Examiner Fund in the amount of $5,350.00
to be used to pay additional audit costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 1st day of
December, 1980, at the hour of 10:30a.m.; and the notice of said hearing
be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County; and that at said
hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriation for such alleged emergency.
