RESOLUTION NO. 159.-80
ORDER
BUDGET EXTENSION - DISTRICT COURT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County,
Washington, did, on the 18th day of November, 1980, declare that an emergency
existed to provide the sum of $2,000.00 for the District Court Budget, and
set a hearing on the said emergency for Monday, November 24, 1980, at the
hour of 10:30a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published in the local news-
paper as required by law; and
WHEREAS, hearing was held at the time and place so advertised and
no objection or objection was interposed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners, that there be and there is hereby appropriated for the Jefferson
County District Court budget the sum of $2,000.00 from account no. 341.14,
District Court Fees and Charges to be used for court appointed attorneys
and the public defender; and be it
FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby
empowered to draw warrants against the following account, not exceeding
the gross amount so appropriated unless a review is applied for within five
days from date hereof:
512.40.31 Professional Services
$2,000.00

Please be advised that after a thoraugh examinatian'af my current budget
it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account Number 512.40.31
of $ 5,404.51 of the Professional Services Fund is. insufficient to pay
necessary expenses of this department for this year. After a careful
examinatian of the expenditures under this fund in previous years, and a
tharough examination af the present needs of this department under the
current yaar, I estimate that it'will be necessary to. have an additional
aPPJ:'opriatian in-the farm of an emergency appropriation in the approxi-'
.mate amount of $ 2,000.00 far this current year far the fallowing
reasons:
