HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION - NON-DEPARTMENTAL
BONDS/INSURANCE & STATE EXAMINER
WHEREAS, the Non-Departmental portion of the 1980 Budget of
Expenditures has insufficient monies to cover additional costs which were
not anticipated at the time of preparing the budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contem-
plated at the time of making the budget for 1980, and the sum of $2746.00 is
necessary for the Bonds & Insurance catagory, and the sum of $1798.00 is
necessary for the State Examiner catagory and is for the best interests of
Jefferson County that the appropriations be made; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
emergency appropriation be made for the Non-Departmental portion of the
1980 Budget in the amount of $4544.00 to be used to pay additional county
insurance and examination costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 5th day of
January, 1981, at the hour of 10:30a.m.i and the notice of said hearing be
published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County; and that at said
hearing, any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriation for such alleged emergency.
