JEFFERSON COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY
ACQUISITION PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, in compliance with Washington State Department of
Transportation, Local Agency Guidelines, Division 8 of Right-Of-Way
Procedures;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Procedures for Right-of-Way Acquisition
by Jefferson County is hereby adopted

8. A representative from the County Engineer's Office shall make an
appointment with the owner for securing the necessary signatures. He
shall make out a road construction agreement form (3 copies), which
identifies special problems and agreed upon remedies.
9. The legal instrument for the right-of-way shall be recorded in the
Auditor's Office and the Road Department shall issue a voucher for
payment, charged to the project.
