Pursuant to RCW 36.40.140, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners,
in open public meeting, after proper notice hereby finds that the
following facts constitute a public emergency, other than such as are
specifically described in RCW 36.40.180, which could not reasonably
have been foreseen at the time of making and adopting the Juvenile
Probation Department budget:
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners haVng been fully advised
in the premises, recognizes the need for a vehicle for'the Jefferson
County Juvenile Probation Department, and does hereby authorize, in
conjunction with vehicles being leased for the Jefferson County
Sheriff's Department, the leasing of a vehicle for the Jefferson
County Probation Department. Funds should be allocated to provide
for this unforeseen expense, so that a balanced budget is obtained
by year end..
The Board of Jefferson County Commissioners further finds that the
amount of money required to meet the public emergency is $ 1890.00
which amount is hereby authorized for.expenditure pursuant to.the
attached Emergency Budget, Exhibit "A ", provided that no expenditure
shall be made or liability incurred pursuant to this resolution under
RCW 36.40.15,0, until a period of five days, exclusive of the date this
resolution i�g signed, have elapsed.
