RESOLUTION NO. 52-79
AUTHORIZING REFUND FOR
OVERPAYMENT OF PROPERTY TAXES
WHEREAS, Pacific Lumber & Shipping Co., 3131 Rainier Bank Tower,
Post Office Box 21785, Seattle, WA 98111, has submitted a claim for refund
for overpayment of taxes (a copy of which is attached), and
WHEREAS, the claim complies with the statutory requirements set
out in RCW 84.69, and
WHEREAS, the said claim has been reviewed and approved by the Jeff-
erson County Assessor and the Jefferson County Treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the amount of SEVEN
THOUSAND TWENTY THREE AND 02/100 DOLLARS ($7,023.02) be refunded to Pacific
Lumber & Shipping Co. for overpayment of property taxes on that property
described in the attached claim for the year 1975.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the treasurer be and she is hereby
authorized to make refund in the above-designated amount.
