RESOLUTION NO. 76-79
EMERGENCY BUDGET APPROPRIATION
COUNTY EXTENSION SERVICE
SETTING OF HEARING DATE
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Extension Service has requested an
emergency budget extension due to their budget for 1979 having insufficient
funds to meet additional expenditures to COver costs incurred to provide for
longevity pay for an employee in the said Department; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that an
emergency exists and the sum of $162.79 is necessary to meet such emergency
and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the appropriation be
made; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation of $162.79 be made for the Jefferson County Extension Service
to be used for Salaries.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a pUblic hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners' Chamber of Jefferson County on the 4th day of Septemb~r,.1979, at the
hour of 11:00a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the
official newspaper of Jefferson County and that, at said hearing any inter-
ested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for
such alleged emergency.

longevity pay for Pamela D. Rondeau, Cooperative Extension
