This matter coming to be heard this day upon the cou~~~ .
report and the County Planning Department's report with respect to the
vacation set forth in "Petition for Vacation of a County Road" submitted
by Florence Hos, and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners
that notice of hearing has been posted and published for the time and
in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being
now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced, and
being fully advised in the premises does now find and determine that the
public will be benefited by the vacation thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
THAT PORTION OF 5TH STREET DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 15,
THENCE WEST A DISTANCE OF 30 FEET, THENCE SOUTH
EASTERLY TO A POINT LYING 30 FEET SOUTH OF SAID
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 15, THENCE NORTH TO
THE PLACE OF ~EGINNING, GISE ADDITION
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from compen-
sation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76, EXCEPT for the
expenses incurred by the County for investigation, examination, publication,
and
day of September, 1979.
