RESOLUTION NO. ~-79
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Commerce and Economic Development
provides assistance to local economic development organizations with their economic
development programs, as per Washington State Law R.C.W. 43.31; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Commerce and Economic Development
has technical assistance funds available under the Local Economic Assistance
Program (LEAP) to local economic development organizations for local economic
development-related programs; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Overall Economic Development Program Advisory
Committee for 1979 was established as per the Jefferson County Board of Commission-
ers Resolution No. 37-79 to assist in program formulation for the 1979 Jefferson
County Overall Economic Development Program; and
WHEREAS, the 1979 Jefferson County Overall Economic Development Program
identifies the CommerciallIndustrial Development Guidebook project as priority six
requiring technical assistance funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Jefferson County shall make agreement and con-
tract with the ~Jashi ngton State Department of Commerce and Economi c Development to
receive technical assistance funds not to exceed $5,000 under the LEAP program to
develop the Commercial/Industrial Development Guidebook.
