RESOLUTION NO. 93-79
SETTING OF HEARING DATE
PROPOSED BUDGET EXTENSION
JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMUNITY COUNSELING SERVICE
AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County Coordinator for the Jefferson County Community Couns-
eling Service and the Developmental Disabilities Program has submitted a request
for extensions to both budgets for 1979 due to added state revenues to provide
for additional professional services, and a cost of living increase for their
state grants for the second half of 1979; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners that
an emergency exists and the following amounts are necessary to meet such emer-
gency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the extensions be
made:
Mental Health
Revenue
Expenditures
$10,192.
$10,192.
Bayshore & Discretionary D.D.
..
Revenue $2,224
Expenditures $2,224.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that the
above noted budget extensions be made for the Jefferson County Community
Counseling Service and the Developmental Disabilities Program to be used for
professional services, and cost of living increase for state grants.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said emergency
extensions and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chamber
of Jefferson County on the 1st day of October, 1979, at the hour of 10:30 a.m.,
and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of
Jefferson County and that, at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear
and be heard for or against the proposed extensions for such alleged emergency.
