RESOLUTION NO. 101-79
ORDER
BUDGET EXTENSION
ASSESSOR'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County did,
on:_the 15th day of October, 1979 declare that an emergency existed to provide
additional funds for the Jefferson County Assessor's Office in the sum of
$3,543.62; and set a hearing on said emergency for Monday, October 22, 1979,
at the hour of 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published for one week in the
local newspaper as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing, and
no objection or objection interposed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the Board of County Commissioners, that
there be and there is hereby appropriated for the Jefferson County Assessor's
Office budget the sum of $3,543.62 to be used for Salaries; and be it
FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby
empowered to draw warrants against the attached accounts, not exceeding the
gross amount so appropriated unless a review is applied for within five days
from date hereof.

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account Number 514.24.11.21
of $ -537.48 of the Clerk Hire Fund is insufficient t.o pay
necessary expenses of this department for this year. After a careful
examination of the expenditures under this fund in previous years, and a
thorough examination of the present needs of this department under the
current year, I estimate that it will be necessary t.o have an additional
appropriation in the form ,of an emergency appropriation in the approxi-
mate amount of $ 3,543.62 for this current year for the following
reasons:
Mark McCready, Real Property Appraiser IV, BARS Account Number 514.24.11.07 was
funded by.CETA through September 30th, 1979.
I request 3 months emergency appropriation funding to complete 1979.
Mr. McCready will be on the Assessor's budget for 1980.
