HomeMy WebLinkAbout123 79 J-j-:SO RESOLUTION NO. 123-79 DISBURSEMENT OF FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASH- INGTON, DISTRIBUTING AND ALLOCATING FEDERAL FOREST RESERVE MONIES RECEIVED BY JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1979. WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum of two million, seventy thousand, four hundred fifty four dollars, twenty six cents ($2,070,454.26) from the State Auditor of the State of Wash- ington, the remaining balance of this County's distributive share of Federal Forest Reserve Revenues apportioned by the U.S. Department of Agriculture during the calendar year 1979 and persuant to the statute of the State of Washington in such cases made and provided it is now the duty of the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners to make the proper disposi- tion thereof; and , WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given careful consideration to the needs of the County Road system and to the needs of the several school districts of Jefferson County and their necessary administrative requirements; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commis- sioners does hereby order, allocate, distribute and apportion said sum of $2,070,454.26 as follows: (A) To the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and construction of County Roads during the year 1980 the sum of $1,035,227.13 to be transferred into said fund on January 2, 1980; (B) To the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum of $1,035,227.13, plus all accrued interest received on their apportion- ment, to be distributed as follows: apportioned to the General Fund of each school district by the County Superintendent of Schools (ESD #114) according to law, as follows: \lfI' i't).! 5Hr.r n Z469 Resolution No. 123-79 Page 2 School District Ncq 46 (Brinnon) $ 18,958.67 School District No. 49 (Chimacum) 292,747.47 School District No. 50 (Port Townsend) 571,047.02 School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) 38,226.51 School District No. 48 (Quilcene) 114,247.46 Total $1,035,227.13 THE TOTAL YEAR Forest Reserve Revenues, encompassing Resolution Number 102-79,is $3,968,600.01.
