RESOLUTION NO. ~~-7g
INTENT TO VACATE
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County
Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue to
maintain as a part of the County Road System:
All that portion of Old County Road No. 18, as
replaced by New County Road No. 18, Chimacum-
Center Road, County Road Project 167 dated
February 3, 1958, except the 50 feet on the left
from Engineering Station 538+00 to Engineering
Station 546+20 all in Section 3, T 28 N, R 1 W.W.M.
Plans on file in the County Engineer's Office;
and in comtemplation of the language of the statute RCW 36.87.010, the
same is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now
declare its intention to vacate and abandon said raod, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed
to examine said road and report his opinion as to 'whether this county
road should be vacated and abandoned; whether it ~ill be advisable to
preserve said road for the County Road System in the future; whether the
public will be benefited by the proposed abandonment, and all other facts,
matters and things which will be of importance to the Board, and that
such report be filed as soon as possible.
