RESOLUTION NO. :lJ.O:1J
ORDER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County,
Washington, did on the 10th day of April, 1978, declare that an emergency
existed to provide additional funds for the County Sheriff's Office in
the sum of $29,515.14; and set a hearing on said emergency for Monday,
April 24, 1978, at the hour of 10:00a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published for one week in the
local newspaper not less than ten days prior to the scheduled date of
hearing as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing, and
no objection or objection interposed;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, that the County Treasurer is hereby
authorized to transfer to the Sheriff's Department budget the sum of
$13,170.42 from the unencumbered balance of the Antirecession Fund
account under BARS No. 369.30.
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor be and she is
hereby authorized to pay the expenses incurred to provide for the
protection of persons and property on lands within or a part of any unit
of the National Forest System for which the Jefferson County Sheriff's
Department has the responsibility of enforcement as per attached budget;
and that said amount be included as a budget amendment to the Sheriff's
Department Budget for 1978, effective as of April 15, 1978.
