RESOLUTION NO. 3/- 7 R
INTENT TO VACATE
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of
County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue
to have the following described right-of-way a part of the County Road
System:
That part of the Annie Christney Road (County Road No. 18-16.32)
lying in the NW~ of the SE~ of Section 2, Township 29 N, Range
1 W.W.M.; the North terminus being the South line of 2nd Street,
South Port Townsend Plat, Volume I, Page 10, and the South
terminus being on a line 400 feet North of the North right-of-
way line of Ness's Corner to Hadlock County road (County Road
No.4); except that part lying within the southern extension
of "D" Street, South Port Townsend Plat, as shown on the map
for Irondale Streets, Annie Christney Road relocation, County
Road Project 418-B, dated March 28, 1977 on file at the office
of the Director of Public Works Department, Port Townsend,
Washington.
BE IT RESOLVED, and this aoard of County Commissioners does now
declare its intent to vacate said right-of-way and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed
to examine said right-of-way and report his opinion as to whether this
real estate should be vacated; whether any is in use or has been in
use; the conditions thereof, and all other facts, matters and things which
will be of importance to the Board, and that such report be filed as soon
as practicable.
