RESOLUTION NO. 35"-78
INTENT TO VACATE
(Correction to Resolution No. 4B-75A)
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of
County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue
to have the following described right-of-way a part of the County Road
System:
That part of Charles street between the line formed by
the southerly extension of the East line of Lot 17, Block
35, Chalmers No. 2 Addition to Irondale and the Easterly
right-of-way line of Holman Boulevard lying North of a line
that is 40 feet North and parallel to the center line of
Charles Street EXCEPT that part lying Southwesterly of
the arc of a curve with a 50 foot radius having a center
102 feet East of the centerline of Holman Boulevard and
90 feet North of the centerline of Charles Street.
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now
declare its intent to vacate said right-of-way and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby
directed to examine said right-of-way and report his opinion as to
whether this real estate should be vacated; whether any is in use
or has been in use; the conditions thereof, and all other facts, matters
and things which will be of importance to the Board, and that such report
be filed as soon as practicable.
