WHEREAS, by Contract for Treasurer's Deed dated September 22, 1906,
certain real property was purchased from Jefferson County by J.H. Peterson,
and
WHEREAS, that Contract included a reservation for right -of -way
easement for all public highways which may be constructed by the authority
of the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has no plans for construction of a high-
way on the said property and there is no foreseeable need of that property
for highway purposes, and with no foreseeable need of the property for
highway purposes the easement has no value to Jefferson County;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that Jefferson County shall
convey by Quit Claim Deed its easement for highway purposes over and across
the real property described below to Catherine May Miller, as her separate
estate.
