RESOLUTION NO. ~7;7;
ORDER OF VACATION
TO CORRECT RESOLUTION NO. 52-75
This matter coming to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's
report and the County Planning Department's report with respect to the
vacation set forth in "Resolution No. 35-78, Intent to Vacate, Correction
to Resolution No. 48-7SA" submitted by the Jefferson County Commissioners,
and it appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of
hearing has been posted and published for the time and in the manner
provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file
herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced, and being fully
advised in the premises does now find and determine that the public will
be benefited by the vacation thereof;
NO~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
That part of Charles Street between the line formed
by the southerly extension of the east line of Lot 17,
Block 35, Chalmers No. 2 Addition to Irondale and the
easterly right-of-way line of Holman Boulevard lying
north of a line that is 40 feet north and parallel to
the center line of Charles Street except that part
lying southwesterly of the arc of a curve with a 50
foot radius having a center 102 feet east of the center-
line of Holman Boulevard and 90 feet north of the
centerline of Charles Street.
The vacation of the above described road is to correct the legal
description specified in Resolution 52-75 adopted August 25, 1975.
