INTENT TO VACATE
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board
of County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to
continue to maintain as a part of the County Road System:
That Portion of the old location of County Road No. 70
in the SW~ of the NE~ of Section 34, T26N R2 W lying
outside the present right of way of the Road No. 70
as constructed under County Road Project No. 186,
May 18, 1959 on a 100_00' curve to the left at approx-
imately Engineers Station 55+00 to 56+00.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute RCW 36.87.
010, the same is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does
now declare its intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be
it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby
directed to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether
this County Road should be vacated and abandoned; whether it will
be advisable to preserve said road for the County Road System in the
future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed abandonment,
and all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance
to the Board; and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
