The Recovering America's Wildlife Act would create dedicated, annual funding of $1.4 billion to supplement current and future wildlife and habitat conservation and recovery efforts.
This once in a generation level of funding would give states, territories, and Tribal nations increased ability to protect and recover endangered, threatened, and imperiled wildlife
in conjunction with new funding streams for federal wildlife management programs.
This funding is especially important for Tribal nations' ability to manage wildlife on their sovereign lands, closing the funding gap that has historically existed between federal, state,
and tribal wildlife management agencies. Many Tribes have been at the forefront of wildlife conservation efforts including protection of the grizzly bear, gray wolf, and other species.
It's essential that we get this legislation passed and protect species across the country. Contact your Senators today and ask them to vote YES for the Recovering America's Wildlife
Act. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=864f228bdb0a94f445695c82ee8021145db4111df9add002e97416f39ee900015785e0d733c242800090eec0ac507a0c3f6cb170221bb59663911e52e587081e>
