As you know: "The current (02/06/18) MERU Report is inaccurate, incomplete and does not comply with the Ordnance requirements."

DCD's response was: "Good question, Bert. I noticed that last year while doing a reconciliation based upon the Assessor's records. I don't know who came up with that number (22) or what
the rational was, but "I believe that is a long-standing error that was never corrected."

17.45.020 MERU record.
The department of community development shall maintain a count of MERUs and of residential dwelling units. A system shall be established no later than 60 days from the effective date
of the ordinance codified in this division that provides an up-to-date count of available MERUs. This system shall maintain a current count, shall be available to the general public
for inspection during regular business hours, and shall be updated as needed to reflect current usage and allocations of MERUs. Allocations of MERUs shall be determined according to
the provisions of JCC 17.45.030 <https://www.codepublishing.com/WA/JeffersonCounty/#!/JeffersonCounty17/JeffersonCounty1745.html#17.45.030> . The department shall maintain records of
ERU and MERU allocations and shall maintain a matrix showing allocation of residential and commercial MERUs. [Ord. 3-18 § 2; Ord. 8-99 § 3.802

As you know that MERU report [2/2018] is inaccurate and fails to meet the requirement of Ordinance 17.45.
Went three years and waiting for answers.
