During the fall of 2021, the Work Group engaged taxpayers across Washington to gather feedback about the state tax structure. The feedback received from the public shaped the Work Group’s discussions of policy proposals, which will continue through the end of 2022. DCCA was created to support infrastructure and support land use near military installations in Washington state. The purpose of the program is to provide statewide framework for evaluating and prioritizing projects that enhance the economy, environment and quality of life opportunities for local communities impacted by the military presence.
