Jefferson County and the Association are parties to a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)for 2022 through 2024,and; B. During the course of the CBA administration in 2022 the Union requested a modification to 14.2. THEREFORE,HAVING CONFERRED AND BARGAINED IT IS AGREED: I. The County recognizes the 2022-24 CBA §§ 14.2 currently reads: 14.2 Longevity Pay shall be paid in a lump sum to eligible employees the month following their anniversary month and should they terminate prior to their anniversary date a lump sum of the remaining earned but unpaid longevity payment shall be included in the employee's final paycheck. 2. The Agreement stated longevity would be paid in the month following an employee's anniversary month. However, the FOP would like the longevity to be paid in one lump sum to employees in November pay, received by employees on their December 5th pay check. FISCAL IMPACT: None RECOMMENDATION: Approve the 1st Technical Amendment to the 2022-24 Agreement (2022-1) regarding payment of Longevity Pay in November pay, received on employee's December 5th paycheck.
