~ArHEREAS, 'the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson Coun'ty did by
resolution unanimously passed on April 21, 1975, declare that an emergency existed
to provide additional funds for 'the Jefferson County Historical Society in 'the sum of
$3,900.00 and set a hearing on said emergency for May 5, 1975, at'the hour of
10:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published for one week in 'the official
newspaper of Jefferson County as required by law; and
WHEREAS, 'the hearing on 'this matter having been held and all appearing
having been given an opportuni'ty to speak for and against 'the said appropriation;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED tha't there be and hereby is appropriated
for the Jefferson County His'torical Society the sum of $3,900.00 from unexpended
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for 'the purpose of hiring a staff member to be con-
sidered as a "Research Person" 'to assist 'the Director of 'the Jefferson County Museum.
