INTENT TO VACATE
~..rHEREAS, after due consideration, i't appears 'to this Board of County
Commissioners that it is not in 'the public interest 'to continue 'to maintain as a
part of 'the County Road System:
That portion of County Road No. 18-16.32, Ghristney Road,
across Block 4 of 'the Plat of South Port Townsend,
and in contemplation of 'the language of 'the statute R.C.W.36.87.010,
the same is useless, now 'therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and 'this Board of County Commissioners does now
declare its intention 'to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and 'the County Road Engineer is hereby directed 'to
examine said road and report his opinion as 'to whether 'this county road should be
vacated and abandoned; whether any is in use or has been in use; 'the condition
'thereof, and whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for 'the County Road
System in 'the future; whether 'the public will be benefited by 'the proposed abandon-
ment, and all other facts, matters and 'things which will be of importance 'to 'the
Board; and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
