WHEREAS, 'the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners has entered into
agreement with the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geology & Earth
Resources for said Department to provide the County' with Geologic mapping and
interpretive maps derived from said geologic mapping to help in the development of 'the
County's comprehensive plan for the eastern part of the County; and
WHEREAS, the need for such mapping creates an emergency which could not be
forseen at the time of adoption of 'the Current Expense Budget for 1975, 'therefore, was
not included in said budget; and
WHEREAS, 'the funds expended for this purpose will be reimbursed as per 'the
amounts specified in 'the Office of Community Developmant Grant Contract
N0. GPA-WA-10-19-1024-410. 0102;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the foregoing facts constitute an emergency
and the 'transfer and expenditure of such funds necessitates a budget extension for 'the
County Planning Department for the Amount of $3,405.00; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Auditor be and she is hereby authorized
and empowered to draw warrants on the Current Expense Fund, herewith fixed and .':
determined,
Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geology & Earth
Resources $3,405 .'00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that due to the subject matter hereof be completely
