INTENT TO VACATE
VrHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears 'to 'this Board of County
Commissioners that i't is not in 'the public interest to continue 'to maintain as a
part of 'the County Road System:
All 'that portion of right-of-way of North Irondale Road,
commencing from Prospect Avenue and concluding a't
Fort Townsend Park Road wi'thin Section 26 and Section
27, Township 30 North, Range 1 VVest, ~".M.,
and i~ contemplation of the language of 'the sta'tu'te RC%.: 36.87. 010,
'the same is useless, now 'therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and 'this Board of County Commissioners does now
declare its intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and 'the County Road Engineer is hereby directed 'to
examine said road. and report his opinion as 'to whether 'this county road should be
vacated and abandoned; whether any is in use or has been in use; 'the condition
'thereof, and whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for 'the County Road
System in the future; whether 'the public will be benefited by the proposed abandon-
ment, and all other facts, matters and 'things which will be of importance 'to 'the
Board; and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
