HomeMy WebLinkAbout044 75.. } RESOLUTION "-,QO. A RESOLUTION providing for a budget extension for the current expense fund and declaring an emergency to meet the sane. WHEREAS, legislative action under Chapter 263, Laws of 1975, First Extraordinary Session, entitled the Judges of the Superior Court an increase in salary, effective July 1, 1975; and WHEREAS, Chapter 128, Laws of 1975, First Extraordinary Session, provides that court reporters' salaries stall be increased to $16,800, effective September 8, 1975; and WHEREAS, the amounts necessary to provide said expenses was not anticipated at the time of the preparation of the Current Expense Budget for 1975; and WHEREAS, this is a mandatory expenditure required by law and thus constitutes a non - debatable emergency within the provisions of RCW 36.40.180; THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners Jefferson County, Washington, that the aforementioned facts constitute an emergency, and that the following amounts be appropriated as follows: SUPERIOR COURT ; 1 512. 1.0 Personal Services 11 Superior Court Judge $299.40 Court Reporter 151.03 512.13 Personnel Benefits: 02 O.A.S.I 8.84 03 Retirement 11.33 VE I FAA49 $470.60 v< SUPERIOR COURT # 2 512.10 Personal Services .11 Superior Court Judge $299.40 Court Reporter 151.03 512.13 Personnel Benefits: 02 O.A.S.I. 8.84 03 Retirement 11.33 Total and $470.0'0 $941.20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be and she is hereby authorized and empowered to make the expenditures necessary to meet this emergency without further notice or hearing. this 28th day of July, 1975. o° ATTEST: fll' Eetty J./Temple, - unty Ausit&rwand Ex- officio Clerk of the Board .von.
