INTENT TO VACATE
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board
of County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to con-
tinue to maintain as a part of the County Road System:
That part of the Southwest Corner of Lot
16, Block 35, Chalmers No. 2 Addition to
Irondale lying between the S.W. corner of
aforementioned lot and a curve with a
fifty foot radius being tangent to a line
parellel to and fifty two feet from the
center line of County Road No. 12 and a
line parallel to and forty feet from the
center line of Charles Street;
and in contemplation of the language of the statute RCW 36.87.010,
the same is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does
now declare its intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby
directed to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether
this county road should be vacated and abandoned; whether any is in
use or has been in use; the condition thereof, and whether it will be
advisable to preserve said road for the County Road System in the
future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed abandon-
ment, and all otner facts, matters and things which will be of importance
to the Board; and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
