~{HEREAS, -the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County
have been advised that an emergency exists to provide additional funds
in the amount of $2,100.00 to allow the Jefferson County Board of
Equalization to carry out their duties as required by law, and
WHEREAS, the budget for the Board of Equalization is inadequate
due to the unforeseen necessity for such expenditures;
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board that such an emergency exists
as could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of making
the budget for 1975 and the sum of $2,100.00 is necessary to meet such
emergency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the
approprianion be made;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that an emergency is hereby declared,
tha-P an approprianion of $2,100.00 be made for the aforementioned de-
par'i:ment for the purpose as set forth.
BE IT PURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and -~nat said hearing be held in the County
Conm~issioners Chamber of Jefferson County on %he 27th day of October,
19'75, at the hour of 10:.00a.m., and that notice of said hearing be
published ir, the official newspaper of Jefferson County and -ghat, at
said nearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or
against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
