DISBURSEMENT OF FEDERAL. FOREST RESERVE MONIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, DISTRIBUTING AND ALLOCATING FEDERAL FOREST
RESERVE MONIES RECEIVED BY JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR 1975.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson county Treasurer is in receipt of
the sum of one million, one hundred eighty three thousand, one
hundred sixty four dollars and seventeen cents ($1,183,164.17)
from the State Auditor of the State of Washington, representing
this County's distributive share of Federal Forest Reserve
Revenues apportioned by the U.S. Department of Agriculture during
the calendar year 1975 and pursuant to the statute of the State
of Washington in such cases made and provided it is now the duty
of the Board of Jefferson County Con~issioners to make the proper
disposition thereof, and
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given
careful consideration to the needs of the County Road System and
to the needs of the several school districts of Jefferson County
and their necessary administrative requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County
Commissioners does hereby order, allocate, distribute and apportion
said sum of $1,183,164.17 as follows:
(A) To the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and
construction of County Roads during the year 1976,
the sum of $591,582.08, to be transferred into
said fund on January 2, 1976;
(B) To the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum of
$591,582.09, to be distributed as follows: to be
apportioned according to attendance in said Dist-
ricts by the County Superintendent of Schools
(I.S.D. ~114) according to law, as follows:
School Disrtict No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater)
School District No. 46 (Brinnon)
School District No. 48 (Quilcene)
Building Fund
School District No. 49 (Chimacum)
School District No. 50 (Port Townsend)
Total
