WHEREAS, State of Washington, Laws of 1941, Chapter 99, does
provide 'that on the first Monday in October of each year, the Board of
County Commissioners shall meet at the time and place designated by prior
notice to adopt the Budget for the ensuing year, and
WHEREAS, State of Washington, Laws of 1971, First Extra-
ordinary Session Chapter 36 ~ 1, provides that an alternate date for
Budget Hearing may be selected by the Board of County Commissioners and
this Board did .so deem it necessary to select the alternate date, post-
ing notice to inform the public of said alternate date, and
Whereas, said laws having been complied with, hearings held
at which taxpayers might be heard and/or given an opportunity to
question any part of the proposed budget and officials in charge of
various departments were called in and consulted concerning the Budget
for their Department; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners,
Jefferson County, Washington, that the following budget be and it hereby
is adopted as the CURRENT EXPENSE BUDGET OF JEFFERSON COUNTY for the
calendar year 1976.

NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE
OF HEARING PROPOSED BUDGET OF
JEFFERSON COUNTY
FOR THE YEAR
1976
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners shall meet on the first Monday of December (December
1, 1975) at 10:00a.m. in the Commissioner's Chamber of the Jefferson
County Courthouse for the purpose of commencing budget hearings not
· to exceed a total of five days. Upon conclusion of the hearings
the final budget and tax levies shall be fixed for the calendar year
1976. Anyone may appear at said budget hearings and be heard for or
against any portion of the budget.

PRELIMINARY BUDGET
1976
Notice is hereby given that-the Board of Cox~nissioners, Jefferson
County, Washington, has completed, adopted and placed on file the
preliminary budget for the county for 1976. Copies of said budget
are available at 'the Office of the County Auditor and will be fur-
nished to any citizen who will call for it at the designated office.
