AND
JEFFERSON COUNTY

RESOLUTION NO. 1 -77
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has entered into Contract No. 306 -4
with the State of Washington Department of Ecology, and
WHEREAS, said contract contains a "Scope of Service" under
Appendix "A" known as "Element II" Kilisut Harbor Water Quality
Restoration, and
WHEREAS, said contract elements' purpose was to conduct a
short -range analysis towards remedial program of water quality
restoration in Kilisut Harbor, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that said study
will not fulfill its prupose,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Jefferson County finds it
necessary to withdraw the Kilisut Harbor Element from said contract,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Section 3.01 "Department Payment"
as amended shall read as $10,857.00; that Section 3.02 "Governmental
Units Matching Contribution" as amended shall read as $5,428.00; and that
Section 3.03 "Total Contract Value" as amended shall read as $16,285.00.
