RESOLUTION NO. L 1-7 ?
WHEREAS, by Contract No. 291 for Treasurer's Deed, certain real
property was purchased from Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, that Contract included a reservation for right-of-way
easement for all public highways which may be constructed by the
authority of the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has no plans for construction of a
highway on the said property and there is no foreseeable need of that
property for highway purposes, and with no foreseeable need of the
property for highway purposes the easement has no value to Jefferson
County;
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that Jefferson County
shall convey by Quit Claim Deed its easement for highway purposes over
and across the real property described below, to Marie G. Workman.
Said real property is described as follows:
Tract 28 Seahome Addition as per plat recorded in Volume
2 of Plats, page lf4, records of Jefferson County, EXECPT
the West 30' thereof conveyed to Jefferson County for
County Road by Deed dated August 15, 1960 and recorded
under Auditor's File #167973, records of said County;
TOGETHER WITH tidelands of the second class as conveyed by
the State of Washington situated in front of, adjacent to
and abutting upon said Tract 28 and extending to extreme
low tides.
