WHEREAS, R.C.W. 27.24.070 provides that upon a showing of
need, the three dollar fee may be increased up to five dollars
on the request of the Law Library Board of Trustees and with the
approval of the County legislative body; and
WHEREAS, the funds presently collected from filing fees
for cases filed in this County are insufficient to adequately
provide for the Jefferson County Law Library;
Now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Jefferson County Law Library
shall receive five dollars ($5.00) from each new probate or
civil case filed, including appeals, abstracts or transcripts,
as authorized by R.C.W 27.24.070. This resolution shall be
effective as of January 1, 1977.
