RESOLUTION NO. /c!;J-7 '7
INTENT TO VACATE
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this board
of County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to
continue to maintain as a part of the County Road System:
All of Commercial Avenue between Block 91 on the
N.W., SR 101 right-of-way on the S.E., 12th Street
on the N.E. and 13th Street on the S.W., also, the
entire alley in Block 91, all in the Plat of Junction
City.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute RCW 36.87.
010, the same is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does
now declare its intention to vacate and abandon said road, ~nd
be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby
directed to ex;amine said road and report his opinion as to
whether this County Road should be vacated and abandoned;
whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for the County
Road System in the future; whether the public will be benefited
by the proposed abandonment, and all other facts, matters and
things which will be of importance to the Board; and that such
report be filed as soon as possible.
