RESOLUTION NO.eX 5 - 7 7
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County
that, as a part of its road developement program that a new alignment of County
Road No. 18-16.32 will be of benefit to the County and abutting property owners,
and in the financial interest of all tax payers of Jefferson County, it further
appears that instead of making purchase of those needed lands and premises, or
by proceeding in condemnation, that the provisions of Chapter2l,Laws of Washington,
1965. Section 1, First Extraordinary Session (RCW36.34.330)be invoked, and in
accordance therewith, the Board finds:
(1) That Helen Yackulic, a widow, is the owner of the following described
real estate in Jefferson County, Washington:
Beginning at the concrete monument at the NW corner of the SE~, Sec 2, T 29
N, R 1 W.W.M; thence S 87-22-40 E along the northerly boundary of said SE~ for
348.40 feet6 thence S 0-59-l0W for 490.49 feet and the True Point of Beginning:
thence S 79 -13"-09" E a distance 30.54 feet;

thence S 0 59"10" W a distance 400.0 feet to the northerly R.O.W. line of the
Ness's Corner - Hadlock County Road;
thence N 79013'09" W along said northerly R.O.W. line a distance 30.54 feet;
thence N 0059'10" E a distance 400.0 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
(2) That Jefferson County has acquired by Quit Claim Deed the following
described real estate, to-wit, the existing 30 feet roadway lying along the east-
erly boundary of Helen Yackulic's property said 30 feet roadway more fully des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the Concrete Monument at the NW corner of the SE~, Sec 2,
T 29 N, R 1 W.W.M, thence S 87022'40" E along the northerly boundary of said

for 130 feet and the True Point of Beginning:

443.39 feet to the North margin of the Ness's
feet along said North margin of the R.O.W.;

WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has found and determined that
the value of the county real property and of the privately owned real property is
of approximately equal value, and
WHEREAS, this Board has been further informed and advised that the said Helen
Yackulic, widow, et aI, is willing to convey to Jefferson County its privately
owned real property in exchange for the county owned real property, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED
That. the prosecuting Attorney for Jefferson County be and he is hereby
authorized and empowered to take such steps through the medium of the Superior
Court of the State of Washington for Jefferson County to the end that the intent
and purpose of this resolution be carried out and the proposed exchange of lands
effected.
